The FSA wishes to make its prestigious London Headquarters a centre of excellence in terms of facilities services. G4S fully supports this aspiration and is committed to providing an exemplary facilities management (G4S FM) service to complement the FSA brand.

We deliver flexible and innovative FM services, allowing our customer to focus on their core business. Our approach is based on providing ‘joined up’ services, accessible through a single contact point. Services include catering, cleaning, porterage, meeting room management, reception, grounds maintenance, waste management (general and confidential) and a handyman service. 

In recognition of the high profile of this prestigious building G4S introduced its Gurkha Services to provide the highest level of security and guarding.

Working in partnership

G4S service delivery is firmly based on a partnering approach that involves the customer, the service users and G4S management and operational staff. We believe in dedicated effort from all parties that continues for the life of the contract, in joint decision making and priority setting as well as problem and success sharing.

Our Contract and Business Development Manager chairs regular Building User Group meetings at the request of our customer, and fully engages with the FSA ethos. He also participates in the FSA Health & Safety Committee and takes an active role in pursuing energy saving initiatives as a member of the Sustainability Team’s energy meetings.

G4S upholds this partnering approach in the performance of all its services, and also in assisting in the organisation of and running special events at our customer's request, for example a joint Recycling/Sustainability event.

Performance

G4S consistently achieves scores of between 96% and 100% against required KPIs, and received some perfect scores of 100% for cleaning audits during 2009.

The G4S team was awarded the British Safety Council 5 Star award for Health & Safety in 2009.
