Ready where you are
We have unrivalled geographic coverage globally and throughout the UK, including a specialist team based in central London. With many UK diplomatic missions operating out of the Capital, we have experts available close at hand, who have a real understanding of the specific environment in which you operate. We have played an active part in Project Griffin, in partnership with the City of London Police and Skills for Security, since April 2004. The initiative aims to raise awareness of terrorist activity within the City. As one of the initial founding companies that entered this partnership we sit on the Griffin Committee, meeting on a monthly basis to share intelligence, best practice, and contribute to a safer London.
Manpower available when you need it
With unparalleled access to security officers from the UK’s largest security company, we have a surge capability to cover dropped shifts, and handle an increase in the number of staff required. Whether you require a security presence around the clock, officers to greet your visitors and guard your embassy, or a regular patrol, key holder or response service, our experts will work with you to ensure your security provision meets your needs.
Strategic support for your mission
We can provide a hierarchical, military-style command structure to give critical support, when you need it. We supply former Gurkha and ex-military law enforcement personnel with recent operational experience, well-versed in managing civil disturbance, and able to react appropriately to maintain your safety.
Bespoke solutions to protect your interests
Our experts can implement leading technologies to secure your embassy. Security officer activity can be tracked online and in real time via our secure web portal. We can provide access control systems to help prevent unwanted intruders, and monitor these remotely to allow contractors access out of hours.
We can install, maintain and monitor CCTV and alarm systems, and our lone worker protection system means your vulnerable members of staff have peace of mind 24 hours a day. Monitored from our secure alarm receiving centre, our staff will raise an alert to the appropriate authorities should an incident ever occur.
Expecting the unexpected
Through the application of logical and systematic risk assessment methodologies, we help organisations establish a comprehensive risk management programme. We also help customers to identify, monitor and communicate risks associated with any activity, function or process, whether they are operational, financial, environmental, socio-political, security-based or a combination of these.
Business continuity, resilience and crisis management
Initial risk mitigation planning can be engineered to develop full business continuity and resilience policies and procedures. Our experts work with you to ensure your security master plan includes emergency response plans and crisis management training and exercises.
Risk analysis and research
We offer comprehensive geo-political and security risk analysis, gathered from our worldwide security network, through our subscription services and travel advisories. Our Global Intelligence System (GIS) is a web-based knowledge portal that provides information, analysis and intelligence on over 220 countries, territories and dependencies. GIS includes political and activist group reports, country risk forecasts and travel advisory and safety reports. In addition to our subscription packages, we can develop bespoke business venture reports including risks faced by your organisation, and potential mitigation strategies. We offer detailed advice and support to enable you to make informed decisions.
Training for every eventuality
Each year, we provide specialist security training to thousands of security professionals, government officials, corporate executives and their families worldwide. These programmes, based on realistic scenarios and practical exercises, empower people to protect themselves, their families and their organisation, wherever they are in the world. Courses such as OSAT (Overseas Awareness Training) teach individuals to analyse threats and recognise indications of danger, as well as giving them the basis for defensive action should an incident occur. We are leading the way in developing programmes to support the UK Ministry of Defence’s concept for the training of Contractors on Deployed Operations, referred to as ‘CONDO’. Our specialist driving courses can prepare executives, security personnel and drivers with the skills needed to cope with an attack on their vehicle.
Specialist facilities to meet your needs
Information security and Technical Surveillance
Counter Measures (TSCM)
Embassies work with sensitive information on a daily basis and have to protect themselves and their information against invasions of privacy and industrial espionage. Facilitated by our experienced TSCM technicians, we can offer a complete electronic security solution, including prevention, detection, business continuity support and computer forensics.
We provide specialist surveillance detection teams at high risk locations to pre-empt and counter potential terrorist or criminal activity. We also have an internationally recognised training capability in this discipline.
Abduction, kidnap for ransom and extortion services
Our specialist subsidiary, Neil Young Associates International (NYA), provides governments, international corporations and private individuals around the world with abduction, kidnap for ransom and extortion (K&R) prevention, training and response services. NYA is a recognised world leader in this highly specialised market and is an approved K&R consultancy for some of the world’s largest insurers and special risks brokers.
