The OM247-TRAK is a two-piece GPS tracking solution, which works with an OM247-PID.

Operation

An OM247-TRAK and its base-station are installed at the curfew address, and an OM247-PID is secured around the offender's ankle.

When docked in its base station, the OM247-TRAK functions in exactly the same way as an OM247-MU monitoring unit. The offender is free to move around their home, but an alarm is raised if they leave the premises without carrying the tracking unit.

When the OM247-TRAK is lifted from its dock, its PID-detection range automatically decreases. If the offender does not carry the tracker with them, an alarm is raised at the monitoring centre.

Whilst out of its docking station, the OM247-TRAK reports its GPS location to the monitoring centre at regular intervals, accurately tracking the offender's movements.

Alarms are automatically raised in the EMSyS monitoring centre software if the offender breaks his curfew conditions by entering a forbidden zone or leaving a permitted zone.

The OM247-TRAK's integrated mobile phone enables monitoring staff to contact the offender at all times.
