Offender Tracking
Offender tracking allows offenders to be monitored intensively in real-time using the GPS global satellite positioning system.
Offender Tracking can be combined with Home Monitoring to get the best out of both types of monitoring scheme. Offenders are tracked using either an OM247-SOLO or an OM247-TRAK and EMSyS monitoring software.
GPS Tracker Zones
Offenders' movements are controlled by drawing ‘inclusion’ and ‘exclusion’ zones onto a map in the EMSyS monitoring centre software. An alarm is raised if an offender leaves an ‘inclusion’ (mandatory) zone, or enters an ‘exclusion’ (forbidden) zone.
-
Multiple Zone Shapes—Zones can be circles, rectangles or complex multi-point polygons.
-
Buffer Zones—Zone margins are protected with configurable ‘buffer zones’.
