Forensic medical services

G4S Forensic & Medical Services is the leading provider of medical and forensic services for police and primary care trusts within the UK. Since 2005, we have worked in partnership with our customers to achieve the best local provision of critical support services, backed up by a dedicated 24/7 medical call management centre, and a mobile clinical and multi-disciplinary workforce.

PFI/PPP

We have been at the forefront of the Private Finance Initiative (PFI), which provides a means of delivering new public service projects using private finance and service providers in partnership with the public sector.

Similarly, we have been a pioneer of Public Private Partnerships (PPP) enabling governments to share investment, risk and responsibility amongst their partners.

Design

Our extensive expertise of facilities management, gained over more than a decade of providing critical support services, has given us unique insights into the operational requirements of a building.

We place great importance in liaising with our construction partners to ensure that the building design will meet the requirements of our service teams. Our professional design liaison teams are involved in the process from the outset, and monitor compliance of the agreed design throughout the bidding, contract negotiation and construction phases.
