G4S Ordnance Management is a commercial leader in the environmental remediation of landmine, unexploded ordnance (UXO) and Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) pollution, clearing battlefields and the management of conventional weapons
As part of G4S Risk Management we operate globally, supporting sustainable humanitarian and reconstruction programmes through the removal of landmines and UXO. We also assist commercial clients to conduct their business safely in post-conflict environments.
Over the past 14 years, our specialist teams have operated in 25 countries including Afghanistan, Bosnia, Chile, Cyprus, Iraq, Lao PDR, Lebanon, Mozambique, Nepal, Sakhalin Island (Russia) and Sudan.
We are a commercial leader in:
- Survey, removal and clearance of landmines and explosive remnants of war (ERW)
- Explosive ordnance management, including the disposal of both conventional and unconventional/improvised ordnance
- Battle area clearance
- Ammunition stockpile management, including the destruction of abandoned ordnance (AXO)
- Control and destruction of small arms and light weapons (SALW), including MANPADS
