We work in partnership with train companies, Network Rail, the British Transport Police (BTP), Department for Transport (DfT-TRANSEC) and the Security Industry Authority (SIA), to improve and provide effective security at key transport interchange locations across the UK rail networks.
G4S also complies with the BTP Railway Safety Accreditation Scheme. This formalises the excellent working relationship we have with the BTP, providing additional police powers for our officers to deal with anti-social behaviour, nuisance offences, and minor disorder, and to provide additional reassurance to rail travellers.
