Contract Manager Add this

I have been in my role as Contract Manager for a year and have been able to mould the role to suit my management style. Although I had no previous experience in the security industry I have a strong service delivery and customer service background gained within the catering and retail sector.

Training, both structured and on-the-job, is readily available and I feel in control of my own development. I can tap into a huge pool of knowledge and experience in this industry within both the management team and staff.

My job is all about people and processes, being pro-active and responsive in equal measures, managing expectations and building relationships with integrity and respect in short - being available to clients, staff and colleagues alike.

Working within a large organisation with a nationally spread support structure, building a solid network with colleagues I might not meet can be challenging at times, but building rapport with others makes it a lot easier. The best part of my job is being actively encouraged to do my job my way and hitting my targets. I thrive on achieving goals and being given a new challenge.

There are so many opportunities within G4S and for now I am more than happy to increase my industry knowledge, but I am interested to work within the auditing team.

Being a Contract Manager is a great job for someone who enjoys working with people, is really organised but still flexible to accommodate an ever changing environment.
