G4S has worked within the criminal justice sector in the UK since 1992 after winning the contract to operate HM Prison Wolds; this was the first contract to be awarded to the private sector.
Over the years since then we have won numerous contracts to manage prisons, immigration centres, secure training centres, electronic monitoring, courts, police custody suites, prisoner and detainee transport.
