Aviation services

G4S is the largest private aviation security company in the UK, providing a full range of aviation security services including total airport security. We currently employ over 3,000 dedicated personnel, working in airports across the UK delivering services ranging from flight crew screening, aircraft searching & guarding, secure weapons handling, cargo screening and assistance to passengers with reduced mobility (PRM).

G4S Events

G4S Events has been providing crowd management services to the events market for over 25 years. Our breadth and depth of experience across live music, sport, conferences and exhibitions is unmatched in the industry. We make this experience count by providing high quality and well managed security and stewarding services, which allows our customers to focus on the main event.

Monitoring and response services

G4S Monitoring and Response Services have recently invested £3.4 million in their purpose built, state-of-the-art Monitoring Centre, which houses a Category 2 Gold Standard NSI accredited Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). We have the facilities to receive a wide range of alarm signals, from Redcare to IP or Dual Path, including intruder, fire, freezer, personal attack and lone worker alarms. Our national network of screened, professional security officers support our monitoring capabilities by providing a range of key holder, patrol and response services to both the public and private sector.

Maritime security solutions

At G4S our specialist maritime team provides a wide range of tailored maritime port security and ground services solutions that assist our customers to comply with the requirements of security legislations, and thereby ensure a safe and secure port environment.

In addition, we have an in-depth understanding of the security needs of the entire transport sector (including aviation, rail and road transport) to provide solutions to secure the complete supply chain.

Rail security solutions

G4S is a leading provider of manned security services to the UK rail industry, with a proven track record in delivering practical, cost effective and bespoke solutions to meet rail companies’ varied security and customer service demands.

Our dedicated teams of professional, licensed and trained security officers provide fully accountable services that span the whole rail environment, from the administration of penalty fares, on-train security to station taxi marshalling and baggage handling.

Guarding services

G4S is a leading provider of a diverse range of world-class guarding services to businesses throughout the UK. Gurkha services

G4S Gurkha Services is the largest employer of former British Army Gurkhas in the UK. G4S can provide security officers to guard a wide range of high-end and critical security locations, from the protection of Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) locations, including power stations, nuclear facilities and communications and technology hubs to the security for commercial facilities and those businesses for whom the highest level of security is a critical part of their business continuity.
