Surrey GP call centre
Our contract with Surrey Primary Care Trust covers around 250,000 patient journeys per year out-patients, discharges, admissions, and inter-hospital transfers.
The contract covers all hospitals and treatment centres within the county of Surrey and was awarded in 2006. Bookings for patient journeys were originally made by GPs and hospital staff.

Our team now takes around 40,000 calls per year and books around 31,500 patient journeys which would previously have been carried out by over 100 different centres. This frees a significant amount of time for staff at hospitals, GP surgeries and other treatment centres to concentrate on other core tasks.

The G4S Healthcare Logistics contracts hold the British Safety Council (BSC) Five Star standard, ISO 9001:2008 registration and Investors in People.
