Bill Shaw released

We are pleased to confirm that Bill Shaw has been released from Afghanistan's Pul-i-Charki prison.
Bill is now staying at G4S's secure facility at Anjuman Business Park just outside Kabul. He is resting comfortably awaiting processing of exit visa's and other paperwork.
We are working on reuniting him with his family as soon as possible.
We would ask that you respect Bill's and his family's privacy at this time.
