G4S names Bob Le Bargy as new Managing Director for Guernsey
G4S is pleased to announce that Robert (Bob) Le Bargy will become the Managing Director of G4S Guernsey with effect from 1 February 2012. Bob, who is a Guernsey resident, will report to Bob Taylor, Group Managing Director, G4S Integrated Services.
Bob has been the Technical Operations Director for G4S Guernsey since December 2010 and was responsible for the successful integration of Guernsey Air Conditioning (GAC), of which he was the Managing Director, into G4S following its acquisition. Bob joined GAC in 1995 and was its Managing Director from 2008, having previously been a Director, Operations and Contract Manager. Prior to joining GAC Bob worked with Amalgamated Engineers (now AFM) for over six years as its General Manager, responsible the contracting department, following its acquisition of H Page (Guernsey) Ltd where he had worked in a variety of operational and management roles since 1975.
Phil Taylor, the current Managing Director for G4S Guernsey, will remain with business until the end of July at which point he will retire from the business. Phil will support Bob in his new role to ensure a smooth handover.
