Northern Rail selects G4S
G4S Cash Solutions (‘G4S’), the largest provider of cash solutions in the UK, has been awarded a major contract Northern Rail, the UK’s largest train operator, which runs services across the north of England.
The contract, which will commence in February 2012 and will see G4S provide a range of services including cash in transit, cash processing, bulk cash delivery and cash collection from ticket vending and car-park machines.
To help Northern Rail speed up their reporting process, G4S will conduct cash processing from one site in Manchester which will help them to manage their cash flow even more effectively.
