G4S is fully committed to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of its employees across all of its businesses

We provide guidance to ensure that everyone who works for G4S is aware of their responsibilities relating to health and safety and we provide training so they are fully able to fulfill these responsibilities.

Each of our businesses is required to establish and implement Health & Safety strategies, policies and procedures that will help to reduce risk and ensure we meet legal requirements.  We do much more than comply with the law though.  We are committed to continuous improvement and we have robust reporting systems embedded through all levels.  Many G4S businesses have achieved ‘best in class’ awards and accreditations for health and safety management, such as the British Safety Council’s 5* award and Swords of Honour.
