Electronic Monitoring

We aim to provide high quality services to all who need to use them – but we don’t always get it right.  When this happens, we want to make it easy for people to tell us what they think.  Similarly, when we do something really well and someone wishes to say ‘well done’, we want it to be easy for them to do so.

Your opinion really does make a difference to how we operate, so please tell us what you think we do well and what we could do better.

You can also give us your feedback in any of the following ways:

  • By sending a letter or fax
  • By telephone
  • In person when meeting one of our staff
  • Through a third party acting on your behalf (please note that if you ask someone to act for you, we will need confirmation from you that you are happy for us to communicate with this person or organisation)

No matter how you decide to comment, we will treat you equally and with respect.  Our staff will always be happy to help you make your opinion known, if you find this difficult for any reason.

We will try to resolve any issues as soon as we become aware of them, but if we need time to carry out a full investigation, we will tell you, acknowledge receipt of your comments within one working day and seek to respond in full within 20 working days.

We have made commitments to deliver against the procedures mentioned above.  We promise to achieve an acknowledgement of complaints within one working day in 99% of cases, and resolution within 20 working days in 80% of cases (some issues are very complex).  We test customer satisfaction with our feedback procedure and aim to achieve a satisfaction level of 80%.
