G4S is an innovative and reliable partner with experience of PFI, PPP and BSF projects. We believe that the effective delivery of support services can enhance the learning environment and make pupils, teaching staff, parents, visitors and community users feel valued, enhancing the educational experience. Evidencing this, one of the four schools managed by G4S in Leicester recently won the Grand Prix Award for Best Overall BSF Project, and was voted Best School for transforming learning at the annual BSF Awards.

Engaging with the curriculum
Many of the services we provide can complement the curriculum and provide practical examples for use in class. We make every effort to support the delivery of the curriculum and engage with learners.
Engaging with the community
We appreciate the role that schools play in the provision of accessible community facilities and the importance of engagement with local organisations. We actively support our clients to meet their community use objectives. As an organisation we have developed a distinctive social partner approach which we implement across a range of contracts.
PFI and BSF
We are committed to working with schools and Local Authorities to deliver and maintain school buildings which are fit for purpose. Under the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme, and through traditional PFI (Private Finance Initiative) projects, we have delivered award-winning new and refurbished schools while providing innovative and reliable integrated FM solutions.
