As the name suggests, quality assurance seeks to reassure end users by managing their expectations.

For VisitEngland, we operate the National Quality Assessment Scheme, under the name of Quality in Tourism. This contract entails the administration and assessment of holiday accommodation in England to provide a star rating or accreditation. We:

  • Schedule over 25,000 assessments annually, including assessments for the National Quality Assessment Scheme
  • Handle a helpdesk which takes thousands of calls each month from various stakeholders
  • Market the scheme and maintain interest in partnership with VisitEngland
  • Liaise with a network of national industrial contacts to ensure communication is clear, coherent and consistent
  • Work with key accounts to provide them with the most up to date and relevant management information

For the Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey, we operate a similar service, with assessments completed annually in season.
